Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Wednesday, Sept. 16:

Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A

The Bowie Baysox jumped on the Fightin Phils early and never looked back, evening the Eastern League Championship Series with a 10-3 victory in Game 2 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading.

The Baysox rattled off eight runs in the first four innings and quickly took command of the game.

Bowie's offensive onslaught came at the expense of starting pitcher Ethan Martin, who allowed five runs on four hits and walked five batters in only 2 1/3 innings. Things didn't get much better for Joely Rodriguez, as he gave up three runs on four hits in only 1 1/3. He also walked three.

Offensively, the Fightin Phils mustered only six hits. J.P. Crawford led the way by going 2-for-4 and Andrew Knapp hit a solo home run in the fourth.

The best-of-five series now shifts to Prince George's Stadium in Bowie, Md. for Game 3, which is set for 6:35 p.m. Thursday. Jake Thompson is scheduled to start for Reading.
