Game 72: Looking to ride the road momentum

ST. LOUIS -- The Phillies look for their fifth consecutive road win when they visit the St. Louis Cardinals in the second of their four-game series tonight in Busch Stadium.

With three wins in Atlanta and last night's 4-1 victory in St. Louis, the Phillies (33-38) have won four in a row for the first time since earning five consecutive wins from June 2-6, 2013.

The last time the Phillies won five consecutive road games was May 6-26 in 2012 when they won six straight games.

A.J. Burnett (4-6, 4.17) faces Cardinals LHP Jaime Garcia (3-0, 3.72).

Jimmy Rollins looks to increase his 13-game hitting streak in which he has exactly one hit in 13 straight games. Rollins is hitting .245 (13 for 53 during the streak.

As expected, the Phillies have activated Cody Asche and placed Reid Brignac on the 15-day DL with a left ankle sprain. Asche is in the lineup and batting eighth.
