How to get last-minute tickets

The Phillies hold 500 standing-room only tickets per home game for $17 apiece. For a typical 7 o'clock game, it is recommended fans start lining up around 2:30. Windows open at about 4 o'clock and fans are limited to two per person. For a 1:30 game, usually on Sundays, windows will open as early as 9 a.m.

"We've had discussions about just putting these on the Internet," said John Weber, the team's vice president for sales and ticket operations. "But we would rather help out the last-minute customers. It's just a nice customer-service thing to do. You can come down here, grab two tickets and then go home until it gets closer to the game." *
