Minor Leagues: Reading overwhelms Binghamton in 9-1 win

READING, Pa. - The Reading Phillies rode their Australian pitcher's seven innings of five hits and one run and a scoring burst in the sixth to get past the Binghamton Mets in a 9-1 Eastern League win Friday night.

Drew Naylor improved to 11-9. Tuffy Gosewisch had a two-run homer in the second inning, and Timo Perez's solo shot contributed to the five runs in the sixth inning.
