J.A. Happ worked the first six innings for the win for the Lynx, a new minor-league affiliate of the Phillies'. He allowed three hits and two earned runs.

Trenton 7, Binghamton 4

TRENTON - Matt Carson's two-run single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second highlighted a four-run rally, and the Thunder beat the Mets in the Eastern League.

Justin Christian hit a solo home run for the Thunder in the bottom of the eighth.

Akron 14, Reading 3

READING - The Aeros hit three homers in the game and scored 13 runs across the second, third, and fourth innings to defeat the Phillies in the Eastern League.

Lakewood 4, Hagerstown 3

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Jay Miller's two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth rallied the BlueClaws to a victory over the Suns in the South Atlantic League.
