WWE Monday Night Raw Report: Cena, Ryback have final encounter; McMahons, Triple H come to resolution

Here's a rundown of the June 10 edition of Monday Night Raw:

Raw this week emanated from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Va. The show started off with a montage of Triple H's past couple of weeks, which includes his loss to Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules, being injured the next night on Raw during a match against Curtis Axel and his rematch against Axel begin given the kibosh from Vince and Stephanie McMahon last week.

So what do we get to start the show? Triple H's music and he is in wrestling gear. It looks like the match we didn't get last week will start this week's show.

Match 1: Curtis Axel defeats Triple H via disqualification and forfeit

Triple H is essentially tossing the young Axel from pillar to post until Vince McMahon's music hits. He comes out, walks to ring announcer Justin Roberts and tells him to declare Axel the winner via disqualification.

Triple H was not easily deterred as he flexed his COO powers to walk over to Roberts and tell him that the match was being restarted. McMahon, who had already gone backstage, comes all the way back down to the ring and tells Roberts to announce that Axel wins via forfeit.

McMahon only made it to the top of the stage when Triple H once again calls to restart the match except this time as a 60-minute Ironman Match. This forces McMahon to take drastic measures. He walks back down to the ring for a third time, gets on the microphone himself and tells Axel to leave because he's already won twice. Axel and his manager Paul Heyman waste little time leaving the ringside area. McMahon then takes the bell with him and walks to the back, officially ending this bizarre segment.

After the break, Triple H is in the back livid, and he is screaming at his wife, Stephanie McMahon. She pleads with him not to hurt her father, Vince. He reluctantly obliges.

Match 2: Kane defeats Dean Ambrose (The Shield) via disqualification

The match ends with The Shield making a run-in to jump Kane. Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton run down to make the save and clear the ring of The Shield.

After the break, Kane, Bryan and Orton are backstage with Orton and Bryan in the middle of shouting match. Kane is playing peacemaker between the two, which is very odd to see.

After the two trade barbs, Raw managing supervisor Vickie Guerrero interrupts and informs Orton and Bryan that they will team together to face The Shield (Seth Rollins and Roman Reins) at WWE Payback June 16 for WWE Tag Team championships. Guerrero also informs Kane that he will get a rematch against Ambrose for his United States title on the same night. Kane is so happy from the news he gives Guerrero a big, creepy hug.

Match 3: The Miz defeats Cody Rhodes via submission (Figure Four)

After the match, Heyman comes out to announce a change to a match scheduled for Payback. The Miz was supposed to take part in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental title against champion Wade Barrett and fellow challenger Fandango. Fandango suffered a concussion during the weekend and has been taken out of the match. The match was initially changed to just a one-on-one encounter between Miz and Barrett until Heyman announced his client Axel will take the spot of Fandango.

After a commercial break, Stephanie McMahon is backstage talking to her father Vince begging him to make peace with his real-life son-in-law Triple H. He agrees.

In the ring we get Chris Jericho, who is scheduled for a match against the returning CM Punk at Payback in Punk's hometown of Chicago. Jericho cuts a promo about the match before returning World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler interrupts him. After Ziggler talks up his big return, Jericho challenges him to a match on the spot. Ziggler agrees, but sends in his heavy Big E Langston to take care of Jericho.

Match 4: Chris Jericho defeats Big Langston via pin fall (Codebreaker)

Alberto Del Rio, the No. 1 contender to Ziggler's title at Payback came out and attacked him during the match.

Match 5: Antonio Cesaro defeated Sin Cara via pin fall (Neutralizer)

Match 6: Randy Orton vs. Roman Reins (The Shield)

Bryan came out to support his new tag team partner in Orton. Rollins, who was at ringside in support of his partner Reins, interferes in the match. This spurred Bryan to jump in the ring and take out both members of The Shield. The official rules the match a no-contest.

Match 7: Daniel Bryan defeats Seth Rollins via pin fall (roll up)

This was easily the best match of the night, which is no surprise as both are great in-ring performers. The crowd being behind Bryan so much definitely added to the match.

After the match, we get a segment where Diva's Champion Kaitlyn has her secret admirer finally revealed. It turns out to be Big E Langston. Langston walks out with flowers in tow and sweet talks Kaitlyn into almost kissing him. He even dipped her, but dropped her on the ground and began to laugh. Langston's running mate A.J. Lee comes to the ring to taunt Kaitlyn as she set up the entire matter. A fight ensues between the two.

Match 8: Damien Sandow defeats R-Truth via pin fall

Triple H finally meets with Vince McMahon and they can't seem to agree on anything. Finally, Stephanie McMahon appears and orders the two to take part in a group hug. Yes, a group hug.

The final segment of the show was a much-hyped, face-to-face confrontation between WWE Champion John Cena and the No. 1 contender Ryback.

Cena is in the ring, which surrounded by the entire WWE locker room. Ryback comes out in an ambulance, but does not make his way to the ring. He opts to stay at the top of the ramp.

After the two trade barbs to set up their Three Stages of Hell match at Payback, Ryback has heard enough and hits the ring with bad intentions for Cena. The superstars outside of the ring break up the fight and that's how the show ends.
