For the first time since 2000, the Wings will open their National Lacrosse League at home. The Buffalo Bandits will visit the Wachovia Center at 7:30 on Saturday, Jan. 12, to kick off the season.

The eight home games will feature all different opponents and will be played on either Friday or Saturday nights.

"We are very excited about this year's home schedule," said Wings owner and president Russ Cline. "The four Friday and four Saturday night home schedule is a good mix and opening at home is a real plus. We have a full slate of tough Eastern Division opponents this season and will see some fantastic matchups." *
