Eleven area players selected to play in Big 33 Football Classic
Four Archbishop Wood players - Matt Palmer, Nasir Peoples, Billy Shaeffer, and Tommy Walsh - were selected to compete for Pennsylvania vs. Maryland in the Big 33 Football Classic.
Eleven players from Southeastern Pennsylvania were selected Tuesday to play for Pennsylvania in the 61th annual Big 33 Football Classic.
The top seniors from the Keystone State will clash with an all-star squad from Maryland at 7 p.m. June 16 at Harrisburg's Landis Field at Speed Ebersole Stadium.
Neshaminy's Steve Wilmot and Phoenixville's Evan Breisblatt are among the assistant coaches for the Pennsylvania team.
Last season, North Penn graduate Reece Udinski, now at Virginia Military Institute, threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns as Pennsylvania topped Maryland, 44-33.
