Pa. girls: Mohr's hat trick lifts Phil-Mont soccer

Mohr, a freshman, had a hat trick Tuesday to lead New Hope-Solebury past visiting Phil-Mont Christian, 6-0, in a Bicentennial League girls' soccer match.

In another Bicentennial game, Bridgette Alexander scored twice as host Lower Moreland topped Delco Christian, 5-0.

Catholic Academies. Angela Gervasi scored two goals, including the overtime winner, to help Mount St. Joseph to a 3-2 victory at Villa Maria.

Central League. Hannah Sweeney scored the game- winner in overtime to lead Springfield (Delco) past host Upper Darby, 3-2. It was Sweeney's second goal of the game.

Nonleague. Lindsay Straka received a through ball from Chloe Grabowski and beat the keeper to provide the only scoring in Conwell-Egan's 1-0 win against visiting Franklin Towne Charter.

Boys' Soccer

Nigel Johnson scored four goals to power host Frankford past Science Leadership, 4-2, in Public League play. Johnson, who beat the keeper one-on-one on all four goals, has racked up nine goals in the last two games.

In other Public League action, Denilson Pierre, Gregory Roach, and Antonio Roach each scored twice as Martin Luther King topped visiting Bartram, 6-4.

Catholic League. Reggie Lloyd slotted home a corner kick from Nick Booth in the eighth minute of overtime, powering Archbishop Carroll past visiting Conwell-Egan, 3-2.

James Hughes knocked in the winning goal as La Salle defeated host Archbishop Wood, 2-1.

Suburban One National. J.R. McCabe scored twice in the second half to lead host Pennsbury past William Tennent, 2-0.
