Abington claimed the inaugural event by beating Pennsbury, 63-50, Tuesday night at Souderton.

Robby Heath sank four three-pointers en route to 19 points. Matt Penecale had 10 assists to go along with his 14 points. Amir Hinton added 17 points.

Cameron Jones led Pennsbury with 15 points.

Pioneer Athletic Conference Final. Methacton won its second league title in the last four years by beating Pottsgrove, 73-63, at Perkiomen Valley. Justin Ardman scored 14 points, Tomy Dyer had 14, and Chris McCarthy added 12. The Warriors, who finished 14-1 in the league, have been in the league final for four straight seasons.

Ches-Mont Final. Josh Warren poured in 27 points to carry Downingtown West past Octorara, 68-53, at Unionville. Ryan Betley netted 16 points, and Don Guerrera chipped in with 14. Tarojae Brake led Octorara with 18, and Levi Worthington had 17.

Bicentennial First Round. Holy Ghost Prep shot 12 for 14 from the line in the fourth quarter to put away visiting New-Hope Solebury, 46-30. Michael Kirby scored 12, and Liam Brennan added 10.

Ben Brophy had four points and a steal in overtime to help Calvary Christian fend off visiting Valley Forge Military Academy, 57-53. Sam Bair and Joel Thibodeau had 18 points apiece, and Ben Brophy had 14.

Michael Mohamed scored 20 points, and host Church Farm held off Jenkintown, 50-39. Tim Davis and Fred Odhiambo scored 12 apiece.

Matt Cerruti poured in 20 points, and Lower Moreland handled visiting Morrisville, 70-36. Dicky Rhoads chipped in with 13.

Friends Schools League Semifinals. Five players reached double figures as Westtown topped visiting Academy of the New Church, 67-48. Jair Bolden led the way with 14, Mohammed Bamba chipped in with 13, Jonathan Kasibabu scored 12, and Najja Hunter and Edvinas Rupkus each had 10.

Quaker Cup Semifinals. Jordan Baker hit a go-ahead jumper with 1.5 seconds left, and host Abington Friends beat George School, 45-44. Jake Stark scored eight of his 13 points in the final quarter, Jordan Baker added 12, and Austin Levin had 10.

Tri-County Semifinals. Gautam Goswamy entered in the fourth quarter and hit two important three-pointers to help Collegium Charter win at Perkiomen School, 59-56. Ahmadu Sarnor scored 26 points, and Max Shiel had nine of his 10 in the fourth quarter.

Tre Gladden dropped 21 points, and Mercy Vocational downed visiting Barrack Hebrew, 65-53. Jymir Johnson-Gardner scored 15 points, and Renaldo Askew scored 10 of his 11 in the final period.

Nonleague. Justin Anderson scored 23 points, and Dylan Parsons netted 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter as Springside Chestnut Hill pulled away from Princeton Day, 72-43.
