Pa. Girls: Pa. girls: Pennsbury tops Truman

SUBURBAN ONE NATIONAL Pennsbury 42, Truman 26: Sarah Atunrase, a 6-foot-2 center, tied her own Pennsbury record with 13 blocked shots. Amy Blazejewski and Meredith Webber led the visiting Falcons with nine points each.

Abington 72, William Tennent 39: Liz O'Leary scored nine of her 19 points in the second quarter as the visitors went on a 23-11 run. She also had eight rebounds. Leah Simmons added 15, and Gabby Nolan celebrated her birthday with 10 points, 6 assists, and 4 steals.

Council Rock North 45, Council Rock South 24: Jessica Gerber scored 14 points and Becca Margolis hit three three-pointers en route to 13 points for the hosts.

Cheltenham 57, Upper Moreland 23: Ashley Jones (16 points) sank three three-pointers in the first to get the visitors off to a hot start. Amarri Trueheart added 11.

Upper Dublin 35, Upper Merion 32: Behind 16 points from Julie Cross and 13 from Allison Chernow, the visitors prevailed.

SUBURBAN ONE CONTINENTAL

North Penn 63, Pennridge 60: Sam Carangi scored 14 of her 18 points in the second half and Taylor Thames went 4 for 4 from the line in the final two periods to complete the visitors' rally.

CATHOLIC LEAGUE

Archbishop Wood 46, Lansdale Catholic 38: Bailey Greenberg's 23 points and 14 rebounds carried the visitors. Aubree Brown had six assists.

Bonner-Prendergast 67, St. Hubert 43: Shalina Miller and Alyssa Monaghan each scored 22 points. Miller had eight rebounds and seven blocks.

CENTRAL LEAGUE

Garnet Valley 37, Conestoga 30: Macy Goldbach scored 14 points, and Maddie Ireland added nine points, four assists and four rebounds for the hosts.

INTER-AC LEAGUE

Baldwin 44, Springside Chestnut Hill 26: Danielle Hammond's 15 points helped the hosts prevail.

FRIENDS SCHOOLS LEAGUE

Friends' Central 67, Westtown 33: Iyanna McCurdy dropped 25 points for the visitors. She also snatched eight steals.

Shipley 49, Academy of New Church 12: Courtney Redcross' 15 points paced the visitors.

Germantown Friends 61, Friends Select 20: Imani Ross poured in 23 points, and Lizzie Becker added 20 for the visitors.

BICENTENNIAL INDEPENDENCE

Christopher Dock 54, Lower Moreland 38: Olivia Longacre scored 15 points, Mattison Shisler had 12, and Megan Swintosky grabbed nine rebounds as the hosts won their sixth straight.

Delco Christian 59, Calvary Christian 26: Siani McNeil scored 18, and Shirley Piotrowski dominated for the visitors with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and

7 steals.

NONLEAGUE

Sacred Heart 41, Chichester 40: Freshman Eileen Piombino hit the go-ahead three-pointer from the top of the key with 1 minute, 5 seconds remaining. Piombino and Madison Schneider each scored 10 for the hosts. Lauren Carrafa led Chichester with 23.

PUBLIC LEAGUE PLATINUM

Central 52, Girls High 23: Sanique Mattis erupted for 21 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals for the visitors. Diamond Talley nabbed 10 rebounds and Reunisha Williams had eight.

Math, Civics, and Sciences 63, Northeast 45: Only three players scored for the visiting Mighty Elephants, but that's all they needed. Bianca Dunn led with 26, Imani Kerin had 21, and Kyesha Fields added 16.

Imhotep Charter 62, Engineering & Science 13: Temple recruit Deja Reynolds led the visitors with 19 points.

Franklin Towne Charter 50, Freire Charter 25: Skyler Petroski's all-around effort - 10 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds - carried the hosts.

Science Leadership 40, Lincoln 29: Devia Terry and Alyssa Winner each scored 12 to lead the visitors.

PUBLIC LEAGUE GOLD

Bartram 55, Prep Charter 36: Bryce Garrett dished out 10 assists and had five steals to go along with 21 points, and the visitors moved to 12-0. Sydney Barrows had 18 points and six assists for the Braves, who can clinch the division Monday. Cianni Matthews grabbed 15 rebounds.

Overbrook 61, High School of the Future 50: Jamie Benton scored 17 of her 25 points in the second half to lift the hosts.

Frankford 51, Fels 27: Tykeera Murray dropped 19, and Rhonda Bynum added 18 as the hosts cruised.

Palumbo 47, Parkway West 29: Taylor Dawson and Kiarah Henry netted 12 points apiece for the hosts. Jasmine Sowell had 11.

Philadelphia Academy Charter 56, Dobbins 22: Taylor Fritz's 16 points boosted the hosts.

New Media Charter 41, Mariana Bracetti 12: Ebony Bradford's 24 points led New Media.

Masterman 25, Swenson 17: The visitors went

8 for 12 from the line in the fourth to seal it. Allison Mark scored 13 points.

Sayre 47, Philadelphia Electrical 38: Denia Johnson's four-point play with two minutes left helped the visitors withstand a fourth-quarter rally and clinch a playoff berth in their first varsity season. Iyanna Walls scored 20 points and Ezae Barnes added 19.

Rush 44, Edison 37: Keairah Massiah scored

10 of her 21 points in the fourth as the visitors put it away. Atiyah Gardner grabbed 12 rebounds and Alison McCrorey had 11.
