Pa. Boys: Fri. Pa. boys: La Salle holds off Judge

SOCCER CATHOLIC LEAGUE La Salle 2, Father Judge 1: The Explorers remained undefeated in league play after beating Judge, the No. 7 team in The Inquirer's Southeastern Pennsylvania rankings. The hosts scored twice in the first half, including James Hughes' first tally of the season. The junior center back headed in Sean Clinton's cross from the left side. Senior Clint Ormsby had nine saves for La Salle.

Senior Clint Ormsby had nine saves for La Salle.

Archbishop Wood 6, Bishop McDevitt 0: R.J. Liszewski's hat trick was enough for the No. 1 Vikings to stay undefeated. Dan McDonald added one goal and two assists for the hosts. Goalkeepers Ryan Hemsley and Evan Hughes shared the clean sheet to extend Wood's shutout streak to six games.

TRI-COUNTY LEAGUE

West-Mont Christian 3, Kimberton Waldorf 1 (OT): Daniel Mayk saved the Wings with a last-minute equalizer to send the match to overtime. The visitors notched the win in overtime with goals from Devon Jackson and Josh Schueck.

SUBURBAN ONE AMERICAN

Upper Merion 2, Upper Moreland 1: George Dhima and Angelo Misseri scored for the visitors.

PIONEER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

Methacton 3, Pottsgrove 1: Justin Ardman scored in each half to lead the Warriors to their 10th consecutive victory. Eric Kihle added the other first-half goal.

Phoenixville 3, Perkiomen Valley 2 (OT): Andre Souza netted two goals, including the winner for the visitors. Northon Almeida scored the other Phantoms goal.

Boyertown 9, Pottstown 1: The hosts had eight goal-scorers, led by Danny Yudt, who had two goals.

NONLEAGUE

Lansdale Catholic 5, Palisades 0: Ryan Carbone and Danny Kelly each put two in the net for the No. 10 Crusaders. Ryan Magarity also scored, and Jack Kane earned his sixth shutout of the year for the hosts.

Friends' Central 5, Valley Forge Military 1: Asa Bell and Ben Lorry struck twice for the hosts, and Alex Shimell added two assists.

Coatesville 2, Academy Park 1 (2 OT): Kevin Norris tied the game with six minutes left in regulation and Isaac Russell netted the winner for the visiting Red Raiders with five minutes remaining in double overtime.

Interboro 2, Garnet Valley 0: Foday Kayateh and Jeffrey Lopez scored for the visitors.

Marple Newtown 2, Norristown 0: Gianmichael Allodoli and Hunter Dyson netted second-half goals for the Tigers. Josh Gotlib earned the shutout for the visitors and also had an assist.
