Manning's jumper broke a 43-43 tie and Shanice Johnson added a free throw with 13 seconds left to seal the win. Johnson paced the Lions (6-2), ranked No. 7 in The Inquirer's top 10, with 13 points.

The teams met in the third annual Kevin Cain Memorial Game. Proceeds from the game went to families who have a member battling cancer.

Tri-County. Woodlynde held off a furious Del-Val Friends rally to earn a 32-31 win.

Del-Val Friends, which did not lead in the final quarter, scored the final eight points of the game to make it close on the strength of a full-court press.

Sarah Engman led the Warriors with 18 points, while Del-Val Friends was paced by Jen Howard's 17 points.

In another league game, Nicole Pupillo scored 30 points to lead Perkiomen School to a 53-34 win at Kimberton Waldorf.

Nonleague. Baldwin got 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 steals from Sloan Warren in a 53-29 win over visiting Barrack Hebrew. The Cougars were led by Tamara Moskowitz, who scored nine points. Jennifer Motter added 11 points for the Bears (3-5), who got seven rebounds from Val Cohen.

High School of the Future's Shaquita Williams scored 13 of her game-high 22 points in the first half of a 59-16 win at Dobbins.

Christian Academy got five points and five steals from Justine Pedro in a 32-19 win over visiting Cumberland Christian (N.J.) The Crusaders (5-3) were led by Ciera Boyce's nine points.

Public. Edison got 14 points and 19 rebounds from Onairys Medina in a 54-12 win over visiting Washington. Victoria Cassillas led the Owls with 15 points, Jeyshlee Candelario added 12.

Penn-Jersey. Host Solebury School broke open a tight game with a 12-5 second quarter in what turned out to be a 36-21 win over Doane Academy (N.J.).

Alexis Rice, who led the Spartans with 19 points, scored four of her points in the second quarter. The Spartans led, 6-3, going into the second quarter before Rice helped key the run.

Solebury School also got a strong effort out of forward Mimi Andrews, who had eight rebounds to go along with her five points.

In a Mid-Atlantic Association match, host Germantown Friends needed wins in the sixth through ninth spots to come away with a 5-4 win over rival Penn Charter.
