Wood girls win in Florida tournament
Archbishop Wood's Victoria Arnao was a little too much to handle for Mercy (Ky.) in the fifth-place girls' basketball game of the Naples (Fla.) Shootout Tournament on Sunday.
Archbishop Wood's Victoria Arnao was a little too much to handle for Mercy (Ky.) in the fifth-place girls' basketball game of the Naples (Fla.) Shootout Tournament on Sunday.
Arnao had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Vikings (4-1) in a 56-40 win over the defending state champion.
The Vikings won three of their four games in the tournament, losing only to Oakton (Va.).
Steph Keyes, who added 12 points, was named to the all-tournament team.
