Saturday's S.J. roundup: Ocean City boys' basketball prevails in overtime against Clearview

Donovan Graham scored 16 points Saturday as the Ocean City boys' basketball team outlasted Clearview, 74-67, in overtime. After the Red Raiders squandered a 15-point halftime lead, the Pioneers' Dan Sullivan scored a bucket with 10 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime. Graham scored five of his 16 points in the extra session.

Carter Wilburn scored a team-high 14 points as Palmyra edged Princeton, 43-41. Faraji Robinson contributed nine and 12 rebounds for the Panthers.

Isaiah Sanders scored a game-high 17 points as Timber Creek topped Cherokee, 57-50.  Ricky Martin added 16 points for the Chargers.

Bryce Barndt recorded 21 points in GCIT's 64-56 triumph over Absegami. Jake Silva had 19 points for the Cheetahs.

Girls' Basketball

Kayla Williams finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 steals in Rancocas Valley's 52-41 victory over Eastern. Lexi Linton added 12 points, while Jaylin Vandunk had 9 points and 5 assists for the Red Devils.

Haleigh Schafer led Absegami with 18 points and 13 rebounds in a 58-30 win over Our Lady of Mercy. Liz Picardi and Nay Nay Clark each added 14 points for the victors.

Kate Herlihy posted a game-high 17 points as Middle Township beat Delsea, 42-34. Kira Sides added 12 points for the Panthers.

Halima Scott paced Woodrow Wilson with 15 points in a 42-24 defeat of Pemberton.
