S. Jersey Girls: Mesey's might propels Cherokee

Samantha Waldman had two hits, including a double, an RBI, and a run. Abbe Scarengelli went the distance and struck out two.

In other Olympic action:

AnnMarie Cooker went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and a run in Shawnee's 6-3 win at Lenape. Madison LaPlante went 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs. Kayla Pagano pitched a complete game and stuck out two.

Megan Wall had three hits and scored twice as Paul VI shut out Timber Creek, 11-0, at home. Alexa Toner struck out six in a five-hitter.

Colonial. Kennedy Whalen went 2 for 3 with three RBIs in Gateway's 11-1 win at Lindenwold. Alex Astorga went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and three runs. Alyssa Torres scored twice.

Burlington County. Brielle Morichetti stuck out 14 in a five-inning no-hitter for Burlington City in a 15-1 win over visiting Willingboro. In ten games this season, Morichetti has 125 strikeouts.

Brooke Tamres had a triple and two RBIs in Delran's 7-6 win at Moorestown. Brooke Flanagan went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run.

Tatum Marshall had a double, two RBIs, and a run as Florence edged Rancocas Valley at home, 5-4. Lacey Olaff tossed a complete game and struck out three. She also had a pair of hits and an RBI. Damali Young led Rancocas Valley with two RBIs.

Mackenzie Karcher went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a pair of RBIs, and a run in Maple Shade's 4-0 victory at Palmyra. Samantha Vallen had three hits. Sabrina Thomas was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Hannah Kraszewski went the distance and struck out 14 in a two-hitter.

Raidyn Johnson and Ashley Zulla each drove in a pair of runs to carry Northern Burlington to a 6-5 win over Bordentown at home. Morgan Clauser went the distance and struck out three.

Tri-County Classic. Madison Chain tossed a five-inning no-hitter with seven strikeouts to pace Gloucester in a 15-0 win over vistor Pitman. She also belted three doubles, drove in four runs, and scored three runs. Nikki Velez went 3 for 3 with three runs.

Tri-County Royal. Raelynn Genovese went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs in Hammonton's 11-0 shutout of Williamstown at home. Madison Mathes went 2 for 3 with two RBIs.

Cape-Atlantic. Carly Testa broke St. Joseph's runs record, scoring her 134th in the Wildcats' 30-0 win at Pleasantville. Testa went 5 for 6 with a grand slam, six RBIs, and five runs. The previous record was held by Samantha DiPompo, set in 2007.

Khyasia Floyd had a double and an RBI to aid Our Lady of Mercy in a 3-1 win over Bridgeton at home.

Nonleague. Kiana Peterson had four hits, including a home run, and four RBIs to lead Westampton Tech to an 11-1 win over visiting Pennsauken.

Brittni Errig went 1 for 3 with three RBIs in Clayton's 13-1 win over Camden Charter at home. Ally Moore went 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs and two runs. Kaymonah Praul drove in two runs and scored twice. Jada Simon scored two runs.
