Brittany Snow became just the second player in Seneca girls' basketball history to reach 1,000 points on Friday, when the senior forward poured in 26 in the first half of a 59-39 home win over Cherokee.

Snow, who entered the Olympic Conference interdivision game nine points shy of the milestone, hit the mark in the first quarter and went on to add 10 rebounds.

Johanna Metzger added 14 points, and Taylor Watson scored 10 in helping the Golden Eagles build a 38-17 halftime lead.

Also in the Olympic Conference, Jewel Wilson had the hot hand early - scoring 10 of her 28 in a game-opening 19-4 run - as visiting Eastern toppled Timber Creek, 66-39.

Danielle Genay (17 points) and Cari Winiarski (10) also reached double figures for the Vikings, while Amanda Riiff (19) carried the Chargers.

Tri-County. Ariana Slaughter's tireless work on the boards paid off, as her putback with 1.4 seconds remaining lifted host Salem over Woodstown, 36-34.

Slaughter had a game-high 15 rebounds and matched teammates Kenya Woods and Kayla Chapman with eight points apiece.

Burlington County. Stephanie Toy and Emily Filoon combined to score 27 for host Moorestown, which took control early and went on to pound Pemberton, 52-31.

Cape-Atlantic. Mikila Stefanski (19 points), Kristine Miller (16), and Mercina Stefanski (11) provided more than enough offense as Cedar Creek hammered host Hammonton, 56-16.

Amanda Smith's 16 points were not enough to prevent Millville from falling, 37-33, at Vineland.

Nonleague. Devon Catts scored all of her nine points in Haddon Heights' 14-5 second-quarter spree, and the Garnets converted 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch to win, 37-29, at Highland.

Tyler Frankowski and Maddie Lord had 14 points apiece for Audubon, which took the lead for good in a 19-5 second-quarter spree and went on to defeat Triton, 43-38.

Giselle Ramos' 16 points paced Schalick, which gradually pulled away from host Woodbury, 45-32.

Janay Smith grabbed 11 rebounds to go with her game-high 22 points, making host Buena a 48-37 winner over Mount Zion Baptist.
