Sat. S.J. football roundup: Paulsboro clinches Colonial

Turner scored on runs of 1, 3, and 30 yards, and Zach Funk, Jimmy Schmidt, and Deshaun Burgess added a touchdown apiece.

Turner has scored 13 touchdowns for the Red Raiders (7-1 overall, 5-0 division), who made Lindenwold (0-8, 0-5) their fifth opponent to manage a touchdown or less this fall.

West Deptford 65, Overbrook 0 - Josh Cornelius broke off touchdown runs of 35 and 28 yards and Nick Pulli recovered a fumble in the end zone, sparking a 30-point first quarter that started West Deptford on its way to a 65-0 romp at Liberty Division rival Overbrook.

In addition to shutting down the Rams (2-6, 1-4), West Deptford (7-1, 4-1) recorded a safety and had Aaron Bundy return the ensuing free kick 60 yards for a touchdown.

Haddon Heights 48, Haddon Township 10 - Brandon Joyner ran for three touchdowns and 96 yards on 19 carries, and Nick Lundholm aided the attack with his arm and his legs as the host Garnets (7-1) cruised to an easy interdivision win over Haddon Township (2-6).

Lundholm scored on a 10-yard quarterback keeper and passed for 191 yards and one score - a 38-yard toss to Kahson Bounds (7 catches, 122 yards).

West Jersey League

Brian Keller capped his 166-yard, four-touchdown rushing effort with a 20-yard scoring burst in overtime, and Dean Cowley kicked the decisive extra point for Triton (7-1) in a wild come-from-behind 33-32 win at Woodrow Wilson (5-3).

Jimmy Burns added 174 yards rushing and one TD for Triton. The Tigers held a 26-13 halftime lead, thanks to two Aaron Spencer-to-T.J. Chambliss touchdown passes.

Palmyra 42, Maple Shade 31 - Alonzo Sadler ran for 120 yards and four touchdowns as the workhorse in Palmyra's offense en route to a Freedom Division triumph over visiting Maple Shade (2-7, 2-2).

Sadler carried the ball 32 times, including a 30-yarder as his longest of the day, and quarterback Zach Berry completed 6 of 7 passes for 81 yards and a TD to Marquel Charles.

Sadler is 6 yards short of 1,000 yards, and Nick Cannizzaro ran for one touchdown to complete the scoring Palmyra (4-4, 2-1) scoring.

Glassboro 35, Camden 0 - Corey Clement boosted his season rushing total to 1,571 yards with a two-touchdown, 213-yard effort, as the host Bulldogs (6-2) took command early in crushing Camden (1-7).

Layton Hoxey got Glassboro off to a fast start by returning the opening kickoff 88 yards for a score, and Mike Gillespie added a pair of TD passes.

Schalick 27, Salem 18 - The Cougars (5-3) scored three first-quarter touchdowns and held on to clip host Salem (5-3) in an interdivision contest.

In the opening period, Dylan Wargo scored on runs of 15 and 3 yards, sandwiched around Jarred McCarthy's 11-yard scoring strike to Thomas Kidwell.

After Salem closed the gap to 20-18 in the final period, Michael Johnson's 4-yard TD run sealed the verdict.

Rancocas Valley 25, Hamilton West 0 - The Red Devils (6-2) notched their second shutout of the season, and DeSean Jones scored two touchdowns against visiting Hamilton West (5-3).
