The Eagles (9-4) wrapped up the three-day competition late Wednesday night, claiming the title with a 5-4, nine-inning thriller over Oak Ridge Academy (N.C.).

Barnstead singled in John Raczka to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh. After Oak Ridge scored a run in the top of the ninth, Barnstead lined an 0-2 pitch for a game-ending, two-run double with one out in the bottom of the inning.

Raczka and Brian Squibb scored on the walkoff hit, making a winner of reliever Dave Robey. Jon Gonzalez hit a two-run homer in the first inning for Winslow.

Colonial. Mike Wasienko's bases-empty home run in the fourth inning sparked Haddon Heights' 6-1 victory at Overbrook.

Mingo Bay Classic. Paul VI's third win in four games in Myrtle Beach, S.C., was a 19-5 rout of St. Edmund's (N.Y.), in which the Eagles belted three homers. Tyler Keen, Ned Kerr, and John MacAuley (six RBIs) accounted for eight runs with home runs. Keen also earned the pitching win.
