Wed. S.J. boys' and girls' roundup: Waller's six-goal spree boosts Wash. Township

Christina Brennan and Katie Gill each added a hat trick for the Minutemaids, offsetting Caroline DiBartolomeo's five-goal outburst for East.

In another Olympic Conference match, Taylor Donahue's five-goal effort paced a balanced attack as host Seneca slammed Collingswood, 17-6.

Laura Lesky chipped in four goals and the Golden Eagles also received hat tricks from Carlie Flake and Danielle Hubbs.

Cape-Atlantic. Corrine Etter pumped in four goals and Felicia Branagan stopped 16 shots, as Millville remained unbeaten with a 10-9 win at Ocean City. Ashley Dinan's four goals paced the Red Raiders.

Nonleague. Moorestown Friends received scoring from 11 players in cruising to a 17-5 victory at Pennington.

Noelle Smith and Chandler Hart-McGonigle each had a hat trick, and Louise Peterson and Lara Savon contributed two goals and two assists apiece.

Boys' Lacrosse

Nate Rhodes' six-goal outburst drove Washington Township, ranked No. 10 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, to a 16-9 Olympic Conference victory at Cherry Hill East. Eric Anderson topped East with three goals.

Third-ranked Shawnee sprinted past host Paul VI, 18-1, with six goals by Owen Demmerly, and Rob DiOrio's two goals and seven assists.

Baseball

Dylan Colgate and Matt Ennis combined for seven hits and four RBIs as part of Pitman's 18-hit attack in a 13-3 Tri-County Conference win over visiting Clayton. John Dunn homered in support of winning pitcher Mike McIlvaine.

Cape-Atlantic. Holy Spirit whipped host Egg Harbor Township, 14-4, as Mike Adams hit a two-run homer, and Mike Tierney and Nick Zieniuk (three RBIs) had three hits apiece.

Softball

Jessie Blythe opened the bottom of the first inning with a home run, igniting a 12-hit attack that carried host Haddon Township past Westampton Tech, 15-7, in a nonleague game.

The Hawks had plenty of hitting stars. Sarah Welch batted 3 for 3, knocked in two runs and scored twice, and Brittany Peggs lashed a bases-loaded triple in a 10-run fifth inning.

Sarah Crowley came on to pitch the final three innings, and did not allow a hit or a run in picking up the win.

Olympic. Brielle Reighn struck out nine in tossing a two-hit shutout, and Desiree Martinez batted 3 for 3 with three RBIs and three runs scored, as host Triton rolled over Winslow Township, 12-0.

Colonial. Alex Gravinese singled, doubled, drove in two runs, and scored twice to highlight Audubon's 17-2 rout of visiting Lindenwold.

Cape-Atlantic. Brittany Scott fanned a dozen batters and Gina Peti belted a two-run home run in the third inning, putting ninth-ranked Buena on track for a 5-2 home win over St. Joseph.

Tri-County. Shelby McCullough had a big day at the plate for Woodstown, going 3 for 5 with three runs scored in an 8-5 triumph at Highland.
