With a division title on the line, Jasmine Martin took matters into her own hands on Wednesday.

Martin scored 11 of her 29 points in a 23-9 third-quarter spree, as host Timber Creek broke open a tight game and stunned Shawnee, 59-40, to capture the Olympic Conference Patriot Division girls' basketball championship for the second consecutive season.

The Chargers (18-6 overall, 10-0 division) jumped on top early thanks to 10 points by Martin, a senior guard who enjoyed a strong all-around game with 10 rebounds, six steals and five assists. Kristen Kocher and Kelsey Kennedy combined for 21 points for second-place Shawnee (11-11, 8-2), which rallied to within two points at halftime.

Also in the Olympic Conference:

Chanelle Perry sank a pair of clutch foul shots to cap her 18-point performance, and Shanice Maynard and Kamari Talley combined for 21 points in Woodrow Wilson's 45-42 come-from-behind win at Paul VI. Carla Chmielewski had 14 points and Stephanie McDonnell turned in a 10-point, 10-rebound effort for the Eagles - who did not attempt a free throw in the game.

Triton's Deja Bullock put up 22 points and 17 rebounds, but the host Mustangs managed little else in a 75-41 loss to Camden Catholic. The Irish had 11 players score, led by Kelsey Kirkpatrick's 18 points.

Sara Farrell and Melissa Lake had a dozen points apiece to help host Cherokee edge Eastern, 44-40.

Tri-County. Taylor Smith produced 13 points, 11 rebounds and six steals and Antoinette Winchester grabbed 15 rebounds, as host Penns Grove slammed Schalick, 42-28.

Cape-Atlantic. Middle Township nailed down the National Conference crown with a 70-43 victory at Bridgeton.

Kelsey McCusker scored 12 points for the Panthers, who will face American Conference champ Vineland in the league title game on Saturday at Richard Stockton College.

The Duggans' sister act highlighted Ocean City's 51-36 home rout of Atlantic City.

Julia Duggan, a sophomore center, came through with 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, while Emily Duggan, a junior power forward, totaled nine points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Emily Gillian (11 points) and Reilly Larkin (10) rounded out the Red Raiders' double-figure scorers. Sahara Lopez (15 points) and Ta'yon Morgan-Jones (12) supplied the bulk of the Vikings' scoring.

Kerry Player dominated the lowpost, piling up 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Alexis Olson and Lauryn Fields scored 14 apiece as host Cape May Tech doubled up Wildwood Catholic, 56-28.

The tandem of Nadirah Highsmith (15 points) and Brea Whitehead (11 points, 11 rebounds) sparked a second-half surge that sent host Oakcrest past Lower Cape May, 57-45. Marissa McCorkel and Marisa Staley each had 13 points for the Tigers.

Julia DiBiase's 13 points paced Buena's balanced attack in a 45-28 triumph at Pleasantville.

Nonleague. Senior forward Sarah Muchowski tossed in 10 of her 26 points in a first-quarter 18-3 blitz, putting host Florence on track for a 51-34 triumph over Spotswood.
