Tues. S.J. girls’ roundup: Record day for Williamstown goalie

In stopping eight shots in a double-overtime scoreless draw at Clearview, Winkelspecht established the Braves' single-season mark with her 13th blank sheet and tied the career shutout record of 38, set in 2006 by Danielle Bove.

Williamstown's divisional record stands at 7-0-2, while runner-up Clearview is 6-2-1.

Dominique Dorris made a dozen saves for the Pioneers, who dropped a 1-0 decision at Williamstown last month.

In other Tri-County action:

Maxie New led the way with a hat trick and Taylor Reed chipped in three assists, as host Clayton held onto the top spot in the Classic Division with a 6-0 victory over Salem.

Becca Barb's goal midway through the second half lifted Kingsway over host Deptford, 1-0, and guaranteed the Dragons a berth in the sectional tournament.

Kaileen Banks knocked in a direct kick by Emily Macklin, and Karlie Crispin supplied shutout goaltending to send Pitman to a 1-0 win at Gloucester.

Field Hockey

Moira Penza and Gabby Latorre combined for three goals and two assists to spark Bishop Eustace's 4-0 victory at Paul VI, giving the Crusaders a share of the Olympic Conference National Division title.

Alex Pecora and Sam Walters split the goaltending duties for Bishop Eustace, which finished in a first-place tie with Camden Catholic.

Colonial. Patriot Division-leading Audubon improved to 12-1 in conference play by blanking host Haddon Heights, 4-0.

Megan Dadds had two goals and one assist to lead the Green Wave's balanced attack.

The Liberty Division race remained tight, as first-place Haddonfield rolled, 8-1, at Lindenwold, and second-place West Deptford drubbed host Woodbury, 9-0.

Alex Marshall picked up two of her three goals in the first half to help stake Haddonfield to a 4-0 lead.

Jamie Robinson and Amanda Hojnowski each had a hat trick and Jenna Grady pumped in a pair of goals for West Deptford.

Burlington County. Emily Bausher scored two goals and set up another in guiding New Egypt to a 5-2 triumph at Rancocas Valley.

Friends Schools. Kathrine Churchill and Gina Tamburri each scored twice while Lara Savon contributed a goal and an assist, powering host Moorestown Friends over George School, 5-2.
