1. Lenape (1) 4-1
Lenape returned to its winning ways after losing in the McDonogh Invitational in Maryland. The Indians will face their toughest regular-season game Wednesday against Paul VI.
2. Paul VI (2) 4-1-1
Paul VI tied Cherry Hill West, but is still outscoring opponents, 10-3. Wednesday's matchup with Lenape might be the team's only shot to claim the No. 1 spot in South Jersey.
3. Timber Creek (5) 4-0-1
Timber Creek went 1-0-1 in double-overtime games over the past week. The Chargers tied Shawnee and beat Washington Township, 3-2.
4. Haddonfield (6) 6-0
Haddonfield is known for its offense but has yet to allow a goal this season, outscoring opponents, 16-0.
5. Eastern (4) 4-2
After taking Paul VI to the brink in an overtime loss, Eastern suffered a surprising 1-0 loss to Cherokee.
6. Shawnee (9) 3-1-1
Shawnee continues to play tough soccer against some of the top teams in South Jersey.
7. Cherokee (NR) 2-1
A huge win over Eastern catapults Cherokee into the Top 10. Chiefs keeper Melissa Gall had 16 saves in the win.
8. Moorestown (NR) 3-1
The Quakers have an early edge in the Burlington County Liberty Division.
9. Gloucester Catholic (10) 2-0-1
Devin Dougherty continues to lead Gloucester Catholic to a solid start.
10. Washington Township (NR) 2-2
The Minutemaids have weathered a difficult early-season schedule, putting up good showings in losses to Timber Creek and Eastern.
