Pa. boys and girls: Longino lifts Germantown Academy to PASIAA Final

Evan-Eric Longino scored 21 of his 28 points in the second half Friday night to lead third-seeded Germantown Academy past No. 2 Hill School, 72-58, in a PAISSA semifinal boys' basketball game at Penn Charter.

Devon Goodman added 21 points and Bailey Whitman recorded 11 points.

In the other semifinal game, Jair Bolden scored 18 points to aid top-seeded Westtown in a 56-42 victory over No. 4 Episcopal Academy.

Najja Hunter contributed 17 points and Mo Bamba added 10 points.

Germantown Academy will play Westtown in the championship at 3 p.m. Saturday at Penn Charter.

Girls' Basketball

Anna Camden led eighth-seeded Shipley with 11 points in a 45-37 win over No. 4 Notre Dame in a PAISAA semifinal game at Penn Charter.

Lauren Ross, Yndiah Bobo, and Courtney Redcross each added nine points.

Shipley will play No. 6 Mercersburg Academy in the championship at Penn Charter at 1 p.m. Saturday.
