Mike Rutecki made a big steal with 1:30 left to to help host Marple Newtown hold off Harriton, 54-44. Nick Giordano went 10 for 13 from the foul line.

Mike Doyle scored 20 of his 27 points in the first half and Penncrest held on for a 53-49 victory at Springfield (Delco).

Mason Ressler scored eight of his 19 points in the fourth quarter to help host Radnor stop Strath Haven, 72-62.

Ches-Mont American. Tarojae Brake scored nine of his game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter as Octorara put away Unionville, 70-64.

Ches-Mont National. John Rodriguez scored nine of 16 points from three-point range in Coatesville's 57-49 victory at Bishop Shanahan.

Del-Val League. Malik Jackson sank two late free throws to help Penn Wood hand visiting Chester its first league loss, 47-46.

Jawan Collins scored 23 of his 28 points in the second half, and also had 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals to lead Academy Park past visiting Chichester, 76-51. Rich Caldwell had 12 points and 15 rebounds

Public A. Kimar Williams went 15 for 17 from the line in Constitution's 63-59 victory at 6 Martin Luther King. Constitution is ranked fifth in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer. King is No. 6.

Khalief Tinley scored 12 points to lead host No. 7 Imhotep Charter past Philadelphia Electrical, 65-49.

Nick Jones took an inbounds pass from under his own basket, dribbled to the top of the key and hit a three-pointer as time expired to send Math, Civics and Sciences to a 64-63 victory over visiting Del-Val Charter. Samir Doughty scored 36 for MCS.

Public B. The Faison twins, Tyzjay (11 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks) and Nizjay (6 rebounds), helped host Dobbins to a 34-27 victory over Olney.

Jonathan Hall and Shaquan Frazier each had 14 points and eight rebounds in Engineering and Science's 40-37 home win over Sankofa Freedom.

Curtis Barker scored six points in overtime to help visiting Central top Freire Charter, 67-60. Gbolahan Alliyu finished with 11 rebounds and seven blocks.

Suburban One National. John Ryan scored 10 points in the fourth quarter to help William Tennent pull past visiting Neshaminy, 41-33.

Nonleague. Darryl Carr had seven rebounds and Roy Green had seven assists in host Norristown's 69-66 win over Methacton.

Sophomore forward David Giuliani scored a career-high 17 points to lead host Phil-Mont Christian past Friends Select, 61-31.

Football

Martin Luther King senior defensive back Donte Terry has committed to play at Albany. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder also drew interest from Central Connecticut and St. Francis (Pa.).
