Thurs. S.J. football: Camden shuts out Wilson

Quarterback Khalil Williams broke a scoreless tie in the third quarter by throwing an 18-yard pass to Brad Hawkins, and Camden held on to win at Woodrow Wilson, 14-0, in a West Jersey Royal game.

Quarterback Khalil Williams broke a scoreless tie in the third quarter by throwing an 18-yard pass to Brad Hawkins, and Camden held on to win at Woodrow Wilson, 14-0, in a West Jersey Royal game.
Williams added a 40-yard touchdown throw to Hawkins in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.
It is the fifth victory over Wilson in six years for Camden, which improved its all-time series record to 50-30-3.
West Jersey Classic
Paul VI 42, Camden Catholic 26: Irvin Charles caught a pair of touchdowns in the first half to lead Paul VI to the win at Camden Catholic.
Stefon Moore-Green returned a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown in the second half.
Jamal Parker scored three long touchdowns for Camden Catholic, which still leads the series, 27-18-1. He returned a punt 46 yards for his first, then caught passes of 37 and 63 yards for his final two.
Clayton 34, Pitman 6: Juwan Carr ran for three touchdowns and caught a fourth to lead host Clayton.
Eli Rehm sealed the game with a 52-yard interception return for a score in the third quarter, as Clayton won this rivalry game for the fourth time in 19 years to trail all-time, 59-25-4.
West Jersey Freedom
Palmyra 28, Burlington City 8: John Harmon scored three touchdowns, including a 60-yard run and a 58-yard punt return, in visiting Palmyra's sixth win in the last seven years of this matchup. The Panthers lead the all-time series, 54-46-12.
Colonial Patriot
Audubon 13, Haddon Township 6: Khaleil Chisholm rallied visiting Audubon to the win with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He scored the winning touchdown with 1 minute, 3 seconds left on a 12-yard run.
Audubon improved its record in the rivalry to 33-17-1.
Cape-Atlantic American
Absegami 44, Oakcrest 6: Mike Dolan hit Ryan Ganard for a 71-yard touchdown and ran for a 44-yard score before David Hood's 8-yard touchdown run gave host Absegami a 19-0 lead less than six minutes into the game.
Absegami won for the third straight year and owns a 21-17 record against Oakcrest on Thanksgiving.
Holy Spirit 49, Atlantic City 0: A.J. Dawson had a 19-yard touchdown run and returned an interception 20 yards for a score to lead visiting Holy Spirit, which is now 32-49-4 in the all-time series.

Cedar Creek 33, St. Augustine 0: Ahmir Mitchell scored the first three touchdowns on runs of 53 and 55 yards and a 35-yard catch.
Mitchell finished with 114 yards on five carries and three catches for 45 more yards for visiting Cedar Creek.
Nonleague
Woodstown 19, Salem 0: Semaj Thomas ran for two touchdowns, and his 65-yard run set up Steven Mitchell's 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Host Woodstown won for the second straight year on Thanksgiving and owns a 36-57-10 record.
Timber Creek 37, Triton 15: Dan Williams and Cameron Chambers both made history for host Timber Creek.
Williams, who was 22-for-30 passing with 303 yards and two touchdowns, broke the South Jersey record for passing yards in a season with more than 3,100.
Chambers caught four passes for 85 yards and became the first sophomore in state history to have 1,000 yards in a season.
Timber Creek won on Thanksgiving for the third straight year and now leads the series 7-5.
Bordentown 50, New Egypt 14: Tommy Walters and Jahmire Van Kline combined to score six touchdowns for the host Scotties.
Walters had touchdown runs of 46 and 51 yards and returned a punt 73 yards for a score. Van Kline rushed for three touchdowns, including an 80-yarder in the fourth quarter.
New Egypt, which had won three straight, leads the series, 9-4.
Schalick 42, Cumberland 20: Tyrell Hart ran for two touchdowns, including a 90-yarder, and Melvin Allen had a touchdown reception and returned a punt for a score to spark the visitors to their third straight win in the series.
Schalick has the all-time edge, 8-4.
West Deptford 41, Paulsboro 0: The visiting Eagles scored two first-half safeties en route to the shutout. Shai Mumford caught a touchdown pass from Mike Daws, and Gerald Owens, Joe Diaco, and Devin Bates each ran for a TD.
Paulsboro leads the all-time series, 24-9, but West Deptford has won four in a row.
