Thurs. Pa. boys’ roundup: Dobbins posts shutout

Prep Charter 46, Olney 0 - Dion Dolo passed for 73 yards and ran for two touchdowns while directing Prep Charter's nonleague shutout at Olney.

Anthony Wyche added 69 yards rushing and two TDs, and Josephus Dennis scored on two short runs.

Soccer

Stanley Jean-Louis sparked the Martin Luther King offense with three assists, and Kabine Conde knocked in four goals, highlighting a 5-1, Public League win over visiting Franklin Learning Center.

Catholic. Kevin Nelms scored twice and assisted on a goal, and Ryan Stevens added a goal and an assist to Archbishop Ryan's 5-2 triumph at Conwell-Egan.

Central. Shane Botto's header pass to Ben Hriscu resulted in the only goal Lower Merion needed to trip visiting Garnet Valley, 1-0.

Radnor goalie Wesley Dickson made two saves for the shutout, blanking visiting Springfield (Delco), 4-0. Mike Cox, Dean Dersimonian, and Peter Jacome scored goals.

Marple Newtown also won by shutout, 2-0, over visiting Upper Darby. The Tigers got goals 12 minutes apart in the second half from Joe Dyson and Nick Pizzotti.

Unbeaten Conestoga (13-0), ranked No. 1 in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer, rolled over host Ridley, 7-0, with Ryan Balfour's two goals, Jonathan Diller's goal and two assists, and Clarke Fox's two saves in goal.

Ches-Mont. Kennett converted goals by Kevin Jester and Jake Tully into a 2-1 victory over visiting Downingtown West.

Great Valley claimed a 3-0 win at Downingtown East with help from Luis Benitez-Palermo's two goals, and Hector Palos' four saves in net.

Bicentennial. Two goals each by Jon Bishop and Cody Caroff sent Christopher Dock past visiting Lower Moreland, 5-0.

Del-Val. Justin Kamera chipped in with two goals, and goalie Chimanuka Kudurna made four saves while leading Penn Wood past host Academy Park, 3-1.

Pioneer Athletic. Pottsgrove knocked off visiting Pope John Paul II, 3-1, as Ethan Abdalla scored twice, and Sean O'Brien added another.

Tri-County. Jae Yup Jung's second goal was scored with four seconds left in overtime, ending Perkiomen School's 4-3 thriller over visiting West-Mont Christian.

Nonleague. After a scoreless first half, Father Judge's Vontez Hilliard and Justin Hiltwine assisted on each other's goals 19 minutes apart to beat visiting Central, 2-0.

Archbishop Carroll beat host Valley Forge, 7-0, with two goals by Timmy Keith among six Patriots scorers.
