Tues. S.J. boys’ roundup: Bordentown wins on Kaya goal

Omer Kaya followed up his goal in the second half by netting the game-winner in double overtime, lifting Bordentown over host Northern Burlington, 2-1, on Tuesday in Burlington County League boys' soccer.

Andre Mowery was the lone Greyhound to put the ball past Scotties goalie Richard Morris, who finished with 10 saves.

Austin Harker directed Moorestown's balanced offense, assisting on a pair of goals as the host Quakers scored twice in an eight-minute span in the first half en route to a 3-0 win over Maple Shade.

Josh Abrahante scored twice and Allan Melendez contributed a goal and an assist, leading Westampton Tech to a 3-1, home win over Willingboro.

Adam Coyle and Travis Ward each had a pair of goals in the first half, putting New Egypt on track for a 4-2 triumph at Medford Tech.

John Mackie of Holy Cross put in the tying goal with 16 minutes left, and the Lancers wound up deadlocked with host Delran, 2-2.

Olympic. Dylan Meyler scored once and set up Triton's other two goals, and James Barnett came through with 16 saves, spurring the Mustangs to a 3-0 triumph at Seneca.

Giuseppe DeLuca and Jeffrey Morgan had two goals and one assist each to fuel Timber Creek's 7-1 romp at Camden Catholic.

Colonial. West Deptford's Kevin Brockway stopped 10 shots and Jon Weaver made nine saves for host Haddon Heights, as the teams battled to a scoreless draw.

Alex Johnston had a pair of goals and Vincent DelDuca supplied solid goaltending, carrying Haddonfield to a 5-1 win at Overbrook.

Mariano Riveria picked apart Paulsboro's defense for four goals, and Justin Smith contributed a goal and two assists in Woodbury's 6-0, road win.

Cape-Atlantic. Dominick Palmieri put in a rebound in the 14th minute, and James Higbee (10 saves) made the lead stand up as St. Augustine slipped past visiting Millville, 1-0.

Anthony Maruca opened the scoring with an unassisted goal six minutes into the match, and Absegami added a pair of goals in the second half to pull away to a 3-0 victory at Atlantic City.

Yeltsin Jimenez scored midway through the first half, providing all the support Oakcrest goalie Ryan Costello (six saves) would need, as the host Falcons clipped Vineland, 1-0.

Brendan MacFarlane, Zack Sakena and Derrick Brewer each had a goal for Ocean City, which jumped on top early and held on to defeat host Hammonton, 3-1.

Penn-Jersey. Joe DeMarco capped a second-half comeback by netting the go-ahead goal with 18 minutes remaining, lifting host Doane Academy over Pine Forge, 2-1.
