City leagues teams set for PIAA action

The pairings for the PIAA boys' basketball tournament were announced Sunday, with action beginning for city leagues' teams Friday in Class AAA.

Neumann-Goretti, Philadelphia Electricla, Carroll and Boys' Latin are all in first-round games Friday.

Action begins in the first round in Class AAAA and AA on Saturday. In Class AAAA, Frankford, LaSalle, Roman and Bartram are involved. In Class AA, Imhotep, West Catholic, Vaux, Comm. Tech and Prep Charter all play Saturday.
