Robert Rohanna fired a 4-under-par 68 and won the Pennsylvania Open for the second time, capturing a 6-stroke victory Wednesday at the Club at Nevillewood in Western Pennsylvania.

Rohanna, a former Penn State player who won the Open in 2010 at Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern, used an eagle at the par-5 third hole to kick-start his round and was never threatened in posting a 54-hole score of 12-under 204. He also carded five birdies.

Four players tied for second at 210, including first-round leader Cole Willcox of Malvern, who closed with a 70. Mike Van Sickle of McKees Rocks shot the day's best round, a 66, to join David Denlinger of Lancaster (70) and Daniel Obrewski of Irwin (70) in second place.

Corey McAlarney, the assistant pro at Sunnybrook Golf Club in Plymouth Meeting who started the round 1 stroke off the lead, closed with a 74 and tied for sixth at 211.

Pa. Women's Amateur

Brynn Walker, a recent Radnor High School graduate who will enter North Carolina in the fall, fired a 69 to lead qualifying for the Pennsylvania State Women's Amateur Championship at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem.

Madelein Herr, who will start classes at Penn State later this month, was second in qualifying with a 71 over Saucon Valley's Grace Course. Herr's older sister, Erica, a junior at Wake Forest, was next at 72 where she was tied with Penn State senior Kate Granahan and Boothwyn's Aurora Kan, who reached match play in last week's U.S. Women's Amateur.

Defending champion Katie Miller is the top seed for Thursday's start of match play. The championship match will be held Saturday.
