Local golfers in hunt at Pa. Amateur

Arnie Cutrell of Greensburg Country Club took the lead Tuesday after two rounds of the 101st Pennsylvania Amateur Championship at Oakmont Country Club in Allegheny County.

Cutrell, at 2-under, held a 2-stroke lead over Kyle Sterbinsky (Yardley Country Club). Matthew Mattare (Saucon Valley) was 3 strokes back, and three were 4 strokes behind: John Sawin (Merion), Nathan Smith (Pinecrest), and Nelson Hargrove (Gulph Mills). The final round will be Wednesday.

Delaware Open

Amateur Christopher Hickman of Chester River won at Kennett Square Golf and Country Club. He shot a 65 in the final round for a 5-stroke win over Chris Gray.

Lehigh Valley Open

Mike Paukovits of St. Davids won by 1 stroke over Greg Farrow. Paukovits finished at 7 under with a 36-hole total of 137 at the Northampton Country Club in Easton.

Philadelphia Junior

Isaiah Logue of Fairfield, Pa., and Brynn Walker of St. Davids earned their first American Junior Golf Association victories in their respective divisions at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club.
