113th U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club tickets sold out

Tickets for the 113th U.S. Open at Merion Golf Course in Ardmore, Pa. are sold out, the United States Golf Association announced Sunday.

Tickets for the 113th U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa. are sold out, the United States Golf Association announced Sunday.

It is the 27th consecutive sellout for the event.

"The tremendous response from golf fans in the Philadelphia area, across the country and around the world demonstrates the public's excitement about the U.S. Open coming back to Merion," USGA vice president and Championship Committee chairman Thomas J. O'Toole Jr. said in a statement. "We appreciate the loyalty of U.S. Open spectators and are confident that this year's championship will provide a very memorable experience for all attendees."

The event is scheduled for June 10-16.

Tickets for children age 12 and under will be available at all admission gates. Children will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. A two children per adult policy will be enforced.

The U.S. Open will be the fifth hosted by Merion and first since 1981.
