Flyers hold players-only meeting after blowout loss
SUNRISE, Fla. -- It was only Game 2 of 82, but the doors to the Flyers’ locker room remained closed a little longer than usual after Saturday night's game, following the 7-1 embarrassing loss to the Florida Panthers.
Coach Dave Hakstol wasn't in the dressing room, it was just the players.
"We just had a little chat amongst ourselves," said defenseman Luke Schenn, who was minus-3 on the night.
Per the Elias Sports Bureau, the 4-0 deficit after 6:46 of play was the fastest the Flyers have ever gone down by four goals.
