Bryz tries to extend hot streak

Ilya Bryzgalov, who has not allowed a goal in his last 136:13, will try to continue his dominance when the Flyers host the New Jersey Devils in a key Eastern Conference matchup Tuesday night.

Bryzgalov has earned shutouts in two straight and in three of his last four starts. He has stopped 135 of the last 137 shots, and he has been named the star of the game in his last four starts.

Named the NHL's first star for last week, Bryzgalov has a 0.98 GAA and .968 save percentage in his last five games _ all wins.

Defenseman Kimmo Timonen and winger Jakub Voracek will return to the lineup Tuesday after being sidelined with injuries.

The Flyers are attempting to rebound from Sunday's 4-1 loss in New Jersey, which has won four in a row. Sergei Bobrovsky was the Flyers' goal in that contest.

The Devils are 5-1-1 in their last seven games and have tied the Flyers for fifth place in the Eastern Conference; the Flyers have played one fewer game.

New Jersey is 14-6-1 since the all-star break, and it has allowed one goal or fewer in its last six games.

Martin Brodeur, the future Hall of Famer who notched his 650th career win on Sunday, will take a 2.43 GAA and .905 save percentage into the game. Bryzgalov has similar numbers: 2.59, .907.

The Flyers are 2-2-1 against the Devils this season.
