Eagles D-line

UP – Whether it was stopping the run or rushing the quarterback, the Eagles' defensive front wreaked havoc on the 49ers offense. Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham, as usual, led the way and recorded sacks, and Vinny Curry had maybe his best game in years. But it was a complete effort all the way down to Destiny Vaeao.

Jalen Mills

UP – There would be no denying Mills. The Eagles cornerback was gifted an interception when he jumped the route on a weak-armed sideline pass attempt. But his 37-yard return for a touchdown was electric as he crisscrossed the field and plunged over the goal line.

C.J. Beathard

DOWN – Beathard's only a rookie without many top-tier weapons, and he was without both his tackles for long stretches, but the quarterback doesn't appear to be the future in San Francisco. Not by a long shot.

Carson Wentz

SIDEWAYS – He had maybe his worst outing of the season, but it wasn't bad by any means. The interception was wretched. But Wentz battled, even though his protection was leaky against the 49ers' effective blitzes in the first half.

Alshon Jeffery

UP – He's still working on his chemistry with Wentz. Jeffery caught only 2 of 8 targeted passes on Sunday. But the receiver finally pulled in a deep 50-50 ball, and most impressively, broke tackles and powered into the end zone for a 53-yard score.

Mychal Kendricks

UP – The loss of Jordan Hicks for the season stung, but Kendricks has softened the blow in nickel personnel. He's playing his best football in years and set the tone on the 49ers' first drive with a tackle and pass breakup.

Derek Barnett

UP – Barnett must work on his post-blocked field goal "punt" celebration. Donnie Jones he ain't. But the rookie defensive end continues to make game-changing plays with each passing week.

Halapoulivaati Vaitai

SIDEWAYS – Jason Peters' replacement had his struggles. But Big V hung tough at left tackle and seemingly settled down in the second half. But will he hold up over the long haul? The tests only get more difficult.

Jake Elliott

SIDEWAYS – The kicker set an Eagles record with his fifth 50-plus-yard field goal, and he did so in just seven games. But Elliott missed two extra points. Jones' hold on the first may have been the cause. But the second looked like a dead hook.

Mack Hollins

UP – For the second straight week, he helped jump-start a languid offense. A 24-yard catch over the middle set up the Eagles' first touchdown and was Hollins' eighth straight grab when targeted. The streak ended, however, on Wentz's interception.

Joe Walker

SIDEWAYS – He got the nod ahead of Najee Goode as the middle linebacker in base personnel. When 49ers running backs were able to run the ball effectively — however limited — it often appeared to come up the middle and at the expense of Walker.

Doug Pederson

UP – His offense wasn't sharp, but Pederson's team still won comfortably. The Eagles have a NFL-best 7-1 record, and remain the team to beat in the NFC East.
