When the Eagles took the practice field at NovaCare Thursday, they continued to be without safeties Rodney McLeod and Corey Graham, and corner/safety Jaylen Watkins. All three sustained hamstring injuries in last Sunday's loss at Kansas City.

McLeod eventually walked out to watch practice, wearing a compression sleeve on his right leg.

Trae Elston, the safety the Eagles claimed Wednesday from Buffalo, practiced Thursday, wearing No. 35.

Other than Elston, the only healthy safeties on the roster are Malcolm Jenkins and special teams ace Chris Maragos. Linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill said he got some practice reps at safety on Wednesday.
