Buzzing the NFC East with a quick look at each team heading into training camp.

Eagles

Site: NovaCare Complex, South Philadelphia

Reporting dates: Rookies, Sunday; Veterans, Wednesday, July 26.

Training camp schedule: The only two days practice is open to the public are Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, Aug. 6. Both at 10 a.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.

Preseason schedule:

Thursday, Aug. 10: at Green Bay, 8

Thursday, Aug. 17: BUFFALO, 7

Thursday, Aug. 24: MIAMI, 7

Thursday, Aug. 31: at N.Y. Jets, 7

Season opener: Sunday, Sept. 10: at Washington, 1

Watching out for: The development of chemistry (or lack thereof) between Carson Wentz and new receivers Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith is the primary storyline. Also curious to see how the backfield will shape up. … The Eagles retooled the defensive line, led by the additions of Tim Jernigan and first-round pick Derek Barnett. … Is it possible that two former first-round picks — Marcus Smith (2014) and Nelson Agholor (2015) — fail to make the team? Smith is probably in greater danger.

Key rookies: DE Derek Barnett (Tennessee), CB Rasul Douglas (West Virginia), RB Donnel Pumphrey (San Diego St.).

Fantasy watch: Feels like a committee approach at running back. LeGarrette Blount is expected to be the short-yardage and goal-line back, while Darren Sproles has value as a flex.

Vegas Vic's over/under on wins: 8 1/2.

Dallas Cowboys

Site: Oxnard, Calif. (July 24-Aug. 17), Frisco, Texas (Aug. 21-29).

Reporting dates: Rookies, Wednesday; Veterans, Saturday

Training camp schedule: Click here.

Preseason schedule:

Thursday, Aug. 3: Arizona (at Canton, Ohio), 8

Saturday, Aug. 12: at L.A. Rams, 9

Saturday, Aug. 19: INDIANAPOLIS, 7

Saturday, Aug. 26: OAKLAND, 8

Thursday, Aug. 31: at Houston, 8

Season opener: Sunday, Sept. 10: N.Y. GIANTS, 8:30

Watching out for: A possible suspension for star running back Ezekiel Elliott for his involvement in a domestic violence incident last year. The preliminary speculation was that Elliott, last season's NFL rushing leader, would get banned for two games. But a fight at a Dallas bar — and whether he was involved — also is looming. Dallas will open at home with the Giants and visit Denver in Week 2. … LB Jaylon Smith, a 2016 second-round pick who sat out last season, is back on the field for the first time since tearing up his left knee in his final game at Notre Dame.

Key rookies: DE Taco Charlton (Michigan), DB Chidobe Awuzie (Colorado), WR Ryan Switzer (North Carolina).

Fantasy watch: Veterans Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris are immediately behind Elliott on the depth chart. Former Temple RB Jahad Thomas signed as an undrafted free agent, though his best chance to make the squad might be as a special-teams contributor.

Vegas Vic's over/under: 9 1/2 wins.

New York Giants

Site: East Rutherford, N.J.

Reporting dates: Rookies and veterans, Thursday, July 27.

Training camp schedule: Click here.

Preseason schedule:

Friday, Aug. 11: PITTSBURGH, 7

Monday, Aug. 21: at Cleveland, 8

Saturday, Aug. 26: N.Y. JETS, 7

Thursday, Aug. 31: at New England, 7:30

Season opener: Sunday, Sept. 10: at Dallas, 8:30

Watching out for: What sort of influence veteran Brandon Marshall will have on the Giants' young (and dynamic/mercurial) wide receivers. … B.J. Goodson, a special-teamer as a rookie last season, will be given a chance to win the starting middle linebacker job.

Key rookies: TE Evan Engram (Mississippi), DT Dalvin Tomlinson (Alabama).

Fantasy watch: The Giants haven't had a reliable fantasy running back since Tiki Barber 11 years ago. Paul Perkins is this year's sleeper.

Vegas Vic's over/under: 9.

Washington Redskins

Site: Richmond, Va.

Reporting dates: Rookies and veterans, Wednesday, July 26.

Training camp schedule: Click here.

Preseason schedule:

Thursday, Aug. 10: at Baltimore, 7:30

Saturday, Aug. 19: GREEN BAY, 7:30

Sunday, Aug. 27: CINCINNATI, 4:30

Thursday, Aug. 31: at Tampa Bay, 7:30

Season opener: Sunday, Sept. 10: EAGLES, 1

Watching out for: The dumpster fire that is the Kirk Cousins contract saga. The Redskins don't seem to view Cousins, 28, as the long-term solution at quarterback, so he'll be the first quarterback ever to play on consecutive franchise-tag agreements. How this reverberates in the locker room is anyone's guess. … The Redskins lost wide receivers DeSean Jackson (Tampa Bay) and Pierre Garcon (San Francisco), but added Terrelle Pryor from Cleveland. … DE Jonathan Allen slipped out of the top five of the draft because of concerns about shoulder tendinitis. Washington is rebuilding its defensive line and rolled the dice on him at 17.

Key rookies: DE Jonathan Allen (Alabama), LB Ryan Anderson (Alabama), RB Samaje Perine (Oklahoma).

Fantasy watch: Rob Kelley enters camp as the starting running back, but fourth-round rookie Perine could be a late-round sleeper. He had 51 touchdowns in 36 games for Oklahoma.

Vegas Vic's over/under: 7 1/2
