A look at the Eagles' 2015 draft picks
Nelson Agholor First round, 20th overall Position: WR College: Southern Cal Height: 6-0 Weight: 198 Age: 21 Outlook: The Eagles replace Jeremy Maclin with a player who has the same measurements and could become a Day 1 contributor. Agholor was one of the most dynamic players in the draft and also brings value as a punt returner.
Nelson Agholor
First round, 20th overall
Position: WR College: Southern Cal
Height: 6-0 Weight: 198
Age: 21
Outlook: The Eagles replace Jeremy Maclin with a player who has the same measurements and could become a Day 1 contributor. Agholor was one of the most dynamic players in the draft and also brings value as a punt returner.
Eric Rowe
Second round, 47th overall
Position: DB College: Utah
Height: 6-1 Weight: 205
Age: 22
Outlook: If you're looking for a prototype for the Eagles' defensive backfield, it's Rowe. He has experience at safety and cornerback and could play either for the Eagles. It sounds as if they will start him at cornerback after trading up in the second round to acquire the tall, long four-year starter.
Jordan Hicks
Third round, 84th overall
Position: ILB College: Texas
Height: 6-1 Weight: 236
Age: 23
Outlook: Even with a crowd at inside linebacker, the Eagles couldn't resist someone they saw as a three-down linebacker who can also play special teams. Hicks is a savvy player who played for four defensive coordinators at Texas. The Eagles had more exposure to him than any other player during the predraft process.
JaCorey Shepherd
Sixth round, 191st overall
Position: CB College: Kansas
Height: 5-11 Weight: 199
Age: 22
Outlook: In an effort to restock their cornerback corps, the Eagles were attracted to the converted wide receiver. Shepherd was expected to go earlier than he did, but a hamstring injury affected his 40-yard dash and might have dropped his stock.
Randall Evans
Sixth round, 196th overall
Position: CB College: Kansas State
Height: 6-0 Weight: 190
Age: 23
Outlook: The Eagles like versatility, and Evans can play outside cornerback, nickel cornerback, safety, and special teams. They were high on the former walk-on throughout the predraft process. Coach Chip Kelly is still sorting out who will play where in the secondary.
Brian Mihalik
Seventh round, 237th overall
Position: DE College: Boston College
Height: 6-9 Weight: 295
Age: 22
Outlook: Kelly says "big people beat up little people," and there aren't many that are bigger than the power forward-size Mihalik. He's converting from a 4-3 defensive end to a two-gap defensive end, which the Eagles think fits him better. There are a few former B.C. assistants on the Eagles staff who know him.
