If Giants and Cowboys win this week....EAGLES ARE ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFFS....THE LAST 3 GAMES WILL BE MEANINGLESS

I think that it is a very possible situation for the Eagles to make the playoffs. I don't think this year is exactly like 2008 but making the playoffs would draw similarities to that season and thats all you need a ticket to the show.

If both Giants and Cowboys win this week...Eagles will be ELIMINATED from playoffs...and their final 3 games will be meaningless.

The Eagles' chances of making the playoffs are slim. That being said, if they do beat the odds and make the playoffs, that would mean that they had a 4 game winning streak going in, including beating the Cowboys for a spot. If they do so, I think they will be reevaluated. The talent is there, but the results have been erratic.

The Eagles always start being competitive too late. They are never prepared for the early games. This year it only took 12 games to get going. Next year maybe 16.

As Yogi Berra once said, "It ain't over till it's over." The way the Cowgirls and Giants are playing it is possible. Look at Seattle last year making it as a wild card at 7-9 and then beating the 11-5 Saints. The Eagles would have to win out and go 8-8 and both Dallas and Giants go 1-2 in their remaining games. I can definitely see this scenario happening. Not likely and we don't deserve it but this could be a reality.

Yeah, and they'll win the Super Bowl. The Eagles are the Herman Cain of football.

Lyrra--Perhaps you should re-think your 'lowly Cardinals' statement. Cards have won 5 out of last 6 games, including squeakers v. Cowboys and 49er's. Instead of blowing a lead to the Niners, the Cards stormed back in 4th quarter to win. Cards D is so vastly improved since beginning of the year.

This play off talk is starting to become more irritating than a nagging wife or girl friend.

Let's bow out of the playoff picture gracefully. Who really wants to see our beloved Birds get their wings clipped on the National Spotlight.? PPL are forgetting how crapping they played game 3 , game 4, game5, game 2, when the season was on the line. This team that was supposed to go to the Super Bowl bcuz no one expected them to lose to the 49ers with such a big lead, or the lowly Cardinals, or playing foolishy against the Bears by not playing to win with McCoy getting more opportunities. This team as was said does not deserve to be even mention in the same sentence as the playoffs. When it counted most at home they sucked all season. They might as well stop dreamin.

Time to have an affair with another team. Packers are old school but too obvious, leaning towards the Niners.
