At this point I have absolutely no idea what to make of this team except for the obvious...they're horrible. 1st of all I have seen Pee Wee football games that have a more order in their Defense than the Eagles do. Complete lack of chemistry and I put that on Castillo. If you have a pseudo pro bowl defense (individually) why are you letting them be coached by a rookie? This Wide 9 garbage doesnt work. Castillo doesnt work. Jim Johnson's defense did, bring that back.

Vince Young's best days were in Texas, having him back up a guy who is new for the 2nd time is ridiculous.

I stand by Jackson. While he may be a smaller player he was pretty clutch at the end of the McNabb era. Most people don't care for him because his a prolific guy with a puss on his face. Happy workers are productive workers. You can't tell me if he was happy with his organization off the field, it wouldn't show on the field. They chose to not give him more and sign on a bunch of big name non production players instead. Some of the dropped passes are his fault.....constantly getting led into safteys and CBs to run for HORRIFIC passes are not.

Big offseason comming and they should start now.

    Jeffrey Lurie, fix this mess.

Hard to say what's more disappointing for Philadelphia sports fans. The heavily favored Phillies early ouster in the MLB playoffs this fall or the Eagles dream team imploding? I'd say the Eagles, because Phillies could very well rebound next year, but the Eagles dream team looks more like a nightmare that maybe only Bill Cowher can end.

    @Myron

Cowher has been pretty clear about not comming back, so has Gruden.

Dungy?? Maybe a few years? He's already a Vick guy....we can dream.

Those guys aren't going to reveal their plans publicly. I bet they're just waiting for official notification after someone gets fired. And I'll also wager that Gruden is waiting in the wings salivating at the thought and would leap at the first opportunity to coach a team with the talent of the Eagles that he knows is being totally wasted by Reid with his convoluted play-calling. Gruden is a friend of Reid well...he at least worked with Reid in the past and won't cross him by letting on he's interested. If Reid gets fired, Gruden would be instantly available. He has the credentials. Let's do this Jeff.

Almost all of the posters here are losers! I can't believe all these crybabies are real Eagles fans. They are only whiners and complainers. I agree the team needs changes, starting with the DC and maybe Reid too. But the team has a lot of talent that doesn't mesh. We don't have to blow everything up in order to fix this. Anybody who suggests that in an idiot!

So if you are complaining and whining about complainers and whiners, what does that make you?

It's time to move this franchise to Los Angeles.

DeSean Jackson is the whiniest show boat in Eagles history. He's 5'4" little baby who has no heart. He is the poster child of the Eagles team this year. A bunch of hyped up over-rated players who have no heart and play like 4 year old girls wearing pink dresses.

cdog did you feel that way when he ran back the punt at the Giants?

Or when they used to open with the deep ball to him on 1st down?

They havent been going to him like they used to in while, why? I have no idea.

If Jackson is the poster child for Eagle dysfunction it's only because he wears his frustration on his sleeve.

BLOW THE WHOLE TEAM UP! ACTIVATE THE TAXI SQUAD FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. BUT REALLY, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE...IDIOT TICKET HOLDERS WILL STILL FILL UP LINCOLN FINANCIAL LANDFILL. HOW ABOUT FOR THE LAST HOME GAME OF THE SEASON EVERYBODY STAYS HOME...TURN THE DUMP INTO A GHOST TOWN. THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL MANAGEMENT GET THE MEMO !

keep desean..keep andy..get a real D coordinator..specifically before the draft. the o line has shown great improvement. their breakdowns were causing, vick to try to do too much. They need a new D scheme and the players who can play it. And vick back at QB..Yong has been a turnover machine with blocking.

They should have offered DeSay Jackmeoff the exact same contract Steve Smith (CAR) is currently under. Same structure too. 6 years 46 million incld. 9 million signing bonus. 17 million earned in last 2 years. That's exactly what he's worth and not one cent more.
