Former Eagle Evan Mathis agrees to terms with Denver Broncos

Former Eagles guard Evan Mathis has agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos, the team announced via Twitter Tuesday.

The 33-year-old guard was a two-time Pro Bowler with the Eagles.

According to Mike Klis of 9News in Denver, Mathis will receive $2.5 million in base salary, but could earn up to $4 million with incentives.

Jeff McLane of the Inquirer reports that Mathis turned down a $5.5 million offer to stay with the Eagles.
