Five numbers of significance from the Eagles' 20-10 loss to the Cowboys:

2 - The number of third downs the Eagles managed to convert against Dallas in 11 opportunities. This comes on the heels of a 3-for-12 third-down performance in their Week 1 loss to Atlanta. Eight of those 11 third-down opportunities were seven yards or more, including five that were 10 or more. Sam Bradford was just 3-for-9 for 26 yards on third down.

5 - Bradford's turnover total in the first two games. That includes three in the second half Sunday within a 12-snap span that effectively killed any hope of an Eagles combeback. With the Eagles at the Dallas 3-yard line, Bradford forced a pass in the end zone to a tightly-covered Zach Ertz that was intercepted by Sean Lee. Then there was that Keystone Kops snap from center Jason Kelce that ricocheted off of Bradford's shoulder right after the defense gave them the ball back at the Dallas 30. Three plays into their next possession, Bradford threw another interception on a pass that went off of Ertz's hands.

7 - The Eagles' total rushing yards against the Cowboys. And that includes nine yards on two carries by Bradford. The Eagles' three running backs – DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles – gained -2 yards on 15 carries. Seven of those 15 carries resulted in zero or negative yards. They had just one run of more than three yards. Through two games, the Eagles are dead last in the league in both rushing yards per game (35.0) and yards per carry (2.1).

40 - The jersey number of Cowboys safety Danny McCray, who blocked the Donnie Jones punt early in the third quarter that teammate Kyle Wilber returned 26 yards for a touchdown that gave Dallas a 13-0 lead. It was just the fifth time in his 11-year career that Jones has had a punt blocked. McCray came through a gap on the left side of the Eagles' line between Bryan Braman and Jordan Hicks. McCray very nearly blocked another Jones punt earlier in the game, coming through the same gap between Braman and Hicks.

51 - The total number of receiving yards Sunday by Eagles wide receivers not named Jordan Matthews. With Jeremy Maclin now in Kansas City, the Eagles need another wideout besides Matthews to step up and be counted. But that has yet to happen. No other wideout has more than four catches or 39 receiving yards. Matthews has 16 catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles' other five wideouts collectively have 13 catches for 122 yards and zero TDs.
