I dont think Dion Lewis and Colt Anderson are a lock by any stretch.

If Antonio Dixon can return to form as the run stuffing DT he showed two seasons ago, the DL is going to be a formidable unit in the NFC this season.

I see Brandon Washington as almost a lock, though he may be on the taxi squad this year. He can play, and probably is versatile enough to play four spots. Could be a starter when Herremans or Mathis hang up the cleats.

Come on….where do you get: Dion Lewis, Colt Anderson, and Curtis March as Locks!

I would say Polk and Brown should be better then Lewis. OJ should be the lock over Anderson (who is coming off a major injury and was lucky to be on the team all these years). Hansen clearly should be the lock over Marsh based on playing time and Hansen is pretty darn good anyway.

How do you possibly come up with those guys as "Locks" when really I see them as "long shots"!!!!

I attend several Eagles game every year, I have not seen this Colt Anderson stick out of make any significant plays. Can someone identify where he's made such a contribution to be notices as much as he has?

This needs to be said also, Mike Peterson has never been a difference making defensive tackle in the NFL. I can not say he would be missed if he never suited up again for the Eagles. Over his career he's not produced 3 tackles a game.

How can Dixon be a lock and it's not certain if he is capable of catching and blocking? After all the Eagles offense is a variation of the WCO, short passes....... Hello!!!

At Wide Receiver, I don't think Cooper and, or Hall will ever make a significant contribution to the Eagles. When Cooper had the opportunity he came up with excuses. Set him free to play with Tebow he's of no use here in Philly.

Hall isn't really worth mentioning as a Football player no less wide receiver.

I don't see how anyone can feel good about out backup QB's.

@ Dex.. Right.. I never saw Peterson's determining value on the field. Was he a pass rush specialist? A run stuffer? What was his niche? He was supposed to be this small quick DT. But he isnt a sack guy. A run stuffer? @5 foot 11 f292? He is a hard worker no doubt just for not being noticed as a weak link. But these are the kind of guys Reid used to surround the team with and wonder why he had no play makers. Hard workers over talent has won many superbowls hasnt it? If a poor artist works really hard at being a great artist his ceiling is an average artist?

Do any of you guys pay attention to the Eagles and how they operate at all? Lewis IS a lock because he's the only one with any experience under his belt, and while completely unspectacular last season, you know Reid will keep him and stubbornly probably even keep him as #2 even though 2 rookies are probably both better. Colt Anderson is a lock because if you've ever watched an Eagles game, next time look at the jersey of the first guy to get downfield on a punt/kickoff. That guy is Colt Anderson, every time. He's an animal. Marsh is a lock because they will carry 6 corners and he's looked good in limited action so far, and none of the other corners are better than him. I will be willing to bet all of these "locks" make the team.
