The Eagles confirmed that salary-cap analyst Adam Katz has left the team and been replaced by Derron Harris.

Harris was named the team's manager of football administration.

Most Eagles fans have never heard of Katz, but he played a role in negotiating contracts.

Of course, this past season the NFL lacked a cap for him to analyze, but that should change under a new collective bargaining agreement, whenever one is reached.

Katz' departure was first reported by Adam Caplan of Fox Sports. Katz is said to be returning to law school.

Also, the Eagles lost pro scout Charles London to the Tennessee Titans, where he will serve as offensive assistant/quality control coach.
