 Todd Herremans and Brent Celek are in the sports bar business. They've invested in 879, a spot in Old City. (The food will be handled by the guy who owns Steak'Em Up.) Considering the NFL labor unrest, it might be a good idea to have some money coming in, but the food/bar industry can be difficult. Which will be more successful: 879 or the NFL's CBA negotiations?

 Can you name a sports bar that was around 10 years ago? It's a fickle business. I used to have one, If the Shoe Fitz, but the damn customers kept insisting on color TVs and live sporting events.

I think the two of you should belly up to their bar and deposit some of your hard-earned (?) Inquirer money into their pockets. The players are about to fall on hard times, and you wouldn't want them to end up homeless and destitute. It's the least you can do.
