NASHVILLE - Eagles offensive tackle King Dunlap was charged Friday with reckless driving and disorderly conduct after police said he drove his Cadillac Escalade onto the plaza outside the Bridgestone Arena during the Southeastern Conference women's basketball tournament.

Nashville police said Dunlap parked the 2004 Escalade near the front doors. He told officers he was picking up his father, who uses a wheelchair. Police said they asked Dunlap to move to the nearby street while offering to help with his father. He refused, they said, and was arrested.

Police said Dunlap, 25, was cooperative after being taken into custody. A bond of $1,000 was set for the Nashville native. He could not be reached for comment.
