I liked Sheridan's column the other day, the one that questioned whether the Vick enthusiasts would be so bullish if a guy named McNabb had put up the same numbers (and lost) against the Packers.

Birds win today because the Lions are in even worse shape. And Vick might even play well. But I don't understand all the people rallying behind a guy who, for his career, has completed about 53 percent of his passes and got close to a Super Bowl only one time.

I just don't get it. Then again, as you both know, there are a lot of things I don't get. We'll just add the Vick fervor to the list.

I still can't fathom how all these green-clad knuckleheads believed Kolb was going to be a better QB than the best in Eagles history. Joins the long list of things that really bug me.

The Eagles are banged up beyond belief, but the Lions are, too. And let's not forget, they're the Lions. Mike Kafka should be able to beat the Lions. I feel bad for Calvin Johnson. He's wasting away up there.

No way the Eagles don't come home with a W.
