Padden named new Temple director of football operations

Sean Padden was hired as Temple's director of football operations.

He is returning to football after spending five years as a sales representative at Forest Pharmaceuticals and three years as the corporate account manager at Bentley Systems. Padden will replace Ed Foley, who has been promoted to an assistant coach by new Temple head coach Matt Rhule.

Padden worked under Foley at Fordham from March 2002 to February 2004. He served as the defensive line coach and travel coordinator. Before then, the former Catholic University football player had assistant coaching jobs at Columbia, Albany and Albright.
