Temple trio will work out for Eagles

Derek Dennis, Tahir Whitehead and Kevin Kroboth are scheduled to work out for the Eagles at the NovaCare Complex on Wednesday morning. Both players were seniors on this past season's Temple squad.

Dennis, a 6-foot-3, 315-pound offensive guard, is expected to be a late-round pick in this month's NFL draft.
The National Football Post lists him as the 12th-best offensive guard prospect in the upcoming draft. Dennis is receiving interest from the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

Whitehead, a 6-2, 228-pound outside linebacker, is projected as a later-round or free-agent selection. He also has workouts scheduled with the New York Giants and New York Jets in the upcoming weeks.

Like Whitehead, Kroboth, a 6-foot, 200-pound safety, is projected as a late-round or free-agent selection.
In addition to the Eagles, he's had discussions with the St. Louis Rams, New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks.
