Rysheed Jordan, other prospects to attend Temple vs. Duke game

Rysheed Jordan, a junior guard at Vaux High School, will be one of Temple's guests at Wednesday night's game against Duke at the Wells Fargo Center.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is regarded as the nation's 25th-ranked college prospect in the Class of 2013, according to ESPN, Rivals.com and Scout.com.

Temple, Maryland and Villanova (in no particular order) are among the frontrunners to receive a commitment from Jordan, says his AAU coach Kamal Yard.

In addition to the North Philly native, St. Joe's Prep junior guard Miles Overton, Haverford School freshman guard Sammy Foreman and Math, Civics & Sciences junior swingman Jeremiah 'Lump' Worthem and junior forward Quadir Welton will be among Temple's recruiting guests.  Like Jordan, Temple has offered the 6-6 Worthem a scholarship.
